WHAT TO EXPECT:
Most of Modern Marimba’s 2021-2022 season will be held in outdoor areas, concerts will last one (1) hour without intermission, and concerts will be limited to socially-distanced audiences. We’ve carefully designed these precautions to ensure safe and enjoyable outdoor performances for our attendees. When we move indoors, we partner with arts organizations who are part of #SafeArtsSarasota and will provide our audiences with further instructions about each venue.
TICKETING:
A limited amount of socially distanced reserved seating tickets will be available. However, advanced ticketing is required, as there will be no door sales.
Due to the limited attendee size, those interested in our concerts may place themselves on a ticketing waitlist.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS:
The following protocols guided by standard COVID-related health and safety measures will be implemented at each concert:
Direct person-to-person contact will be kept at a minimum. Social-distancing will be required at all times.
Advance online ticketing is required. There will be no door sales.
Face masks will be required for attendees, volunteers, musicians, and staff at all times. Masks will be required. Staff and volunteers will wear face masks.
Concert programs will not be printed. Program notes will be available prior to the performance and made easily accessible at modernmarimba.org.
Hand sanitizing stations will be available.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Performances will last approximately one (1) hour with no intermission.
All musicians will be required to show proof of vaccination. We strongly encourage musicians to get tested before the service week begins.
Modern Marimba reserves the right to cancel or reschedule due to concerns with the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the event of rain, concerts will be rescheduled.

COVID-19 WARNING:
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease that may result in personal injury, severe illness, and death.
