Financial Transparency

Modern Marimba is committed to financial transparency and accountability. As a small, volunteer-driven non-profit arts organization, we file the IRS Form 990-EZ annually. Our receipts are under $50,000, and we prioritize paying musicians a professional wage for their work while keeping our operations lean. In accordance with Florida’s Sunshine Laws, we ensure that our financial records and operations are open and accessible to the public.

Our accounts are overseen by Certified Public Accountant Francina Hollaway of Hollaway Financial, ensuring that we maintain sound financial practices. We are grateful for the community support that allows us to continue creating inclusive, forward-thinking performances and educational outreach programs in Sarasota and the greater Southwest Florida region.
